They then joined Steve O’Dwyer – who was also celebrating making the final table of the Venice event – and an all star cast of poker players and bloggers to wish the poker community a very Merry Christmas.

High Stakes Corner
If the rumours are true then Patrik Antonius is having a rough ride at the virtual felt in the run up to Christmas. Many are speculating that “Fake Love888” on PokerStars is the Finnish pro and have watched in disbelief as he’s dropped almost $500,000 since the start of December. However, while he hasn’t managed to claw back all his losses, the high stakes star has won back almost $300,000 in the last few days.
Yesterday’s haul of $142,000 gave “Fake Love888” their biggest bankroll boost of the month and elevated them to the top of the profit table ahead of Phil “MrSweets28” ($121,794) and Ronny “1-ronnyr3 “ Kaiser ($77,136).
